Explore Studios and Build Spaces in Yorkshire

Yorkshire has a diverse range of studios and build spaces, just a stone’s throw from its awe inspiring outdoor filming locations, making it a big draw for high end TV dramas and feature films.

Versa Leeds Studios, a 130,00 sq/ft state of the art film and TV production facility, opened in Leeds City Centre in 2020 and has become a popular production base, with credits including Bodies, Boat Story and Marvel’s Secret Invasion. Just down the road in Leeds is Prime Studios, a well-established production hub, which is home to a number of local indies as well as offering incoming productions a mix of office, studio and warehouse rental spaces alongside learning facilities for MetFilm School Leeds and University Centre Leeds. Prime Studios’ credits including Bank of Dave and The Duke.

Elsewhere in the region, you can find flexible build spaces such as Church Fenton and Peregrine Studios, which have the capacity for large set-builds, utilised by high end period dramas, including Gentleman Jack and Victoria, as well as feature films like Hope Gap and Official Secrets. Production Park in Pontefract is an excellent purpose-built studio facility, available for major film, TV & commercial productions, home to the first LED virtual production studio in Yorkshire.
