The Thinking Agency, Screen Yorkshire and Left Bank Leeds are teaming up to present an event with award winning photographer, activist and popular TED speaker Giles Duley.
‘LOVE, HOPE & WAR’ brings award-winning photographer and activist Giles to Leeds for the very first time. Duley, who lost two legs and an arm after stepping on a landmine in Afghanistan in 2011 will talk about his incredible life story, overcoming the odds, and his work documenting survivors of conflict around the world. Giles will talk about his own incredible life story overcoming the odds and his work documenting survivors of conflict around the world. Attendees can expect an awe-inspiring, emotional and powerful talk, incredible photographs, and the opportunity to meet Giles informally for questions afterwards.
