The Broughton Hall Estate has a stunning historic house dating back to 1597 and is surrounded by 3000 acres of spectacular Yorkshire Dales. The privately owned Broughton Estate is not open to the public and so provides production companies with the unique flexibility and exclusivity, rarely afforded in historic houses of this scale. The Estate has successfully hosted a number of previous productions such as upcoming feature film The Banishing, BBC drama Gentleman Jack (set for release in 2019) and Calendar Girls (2003), to name just a few.
The Estate can facilitate productions with office space, storage, accommodation of up to 75 beds for Cast and Crew, Parking and a Unit base. The Estate also offers woodlands, rivers, ponds, wide open countryside, old farmsteads and interiors of all houses across the ages. As well as Avalon, the most recent contemporary addition to the Estate, a state of the arts personal training studio with a 20m pool as well as numerous therapy rooms.
Situated a short drive (2.5 miles) from Skipton and an hours drive to both Leeds and Manchester, Broughton Hall Estate offers an all-inclusive production package, and is worthy of serious consideration for a wide variety of production projects.
