EUROGAMER EXPO SHINES SPOTLIGHT ON YORKSHIRE’S GAMES INDUSTRY
Leeds played host to Europe's biggest games trade show, the Eurogamer Expo on 27th and 28th October. The UK's media gathered to witness 4000 gamers swarm to The Royal Armouries to be amongst the first to test out some of the biggest upcoming titles, including world exclusive premieres of Aliens vs Predator, God of War III, Assassin's Creed 2, Mass Effect 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and New Super Mario Bros Wii. Screen Yorkshire and Game Republic partnered with Eurogamer to bring the sell out event to Yorkshire to help showcase that the region, home to 3 of the top 100 best performing games companies in the world, is right at the cutting edge when it comes to the rapidly expanding £4 billion games industry.
