Chapel Allerton Short Film festival open for entries (02/06/2011)

Entries are now open for the annual Chapel Allerton Short Film Festival.

The festival is looking for short films, which can be anything from beautifully crafted Oscar contenders to more home-made efforts. The aim is to show the breadth and creativity of film making that's being made in the region, with a particular emphasis on North Leeds productions. Last year the festival found a cornucopia - costume drama, animation, music video, documentary and a teenage tribute to campaigner Pat Regan.

Successful entries will be shown at Seven Arts centre on August Bank Holiday Monday 29th August, when the audience will get to vote for their favourite film of the night.

To enter, all you need to do is send us a copy of your film, together with an entry form found here:  www.chapelallerton.org.uk/whatsOn_Mon.html

Films can be supplied on a playable DVD or as a file in any of the following formats: .MPG .AVI .MOV (Quicktime) or .WMV (Windows Media Video)

Films need to be submitted before the end of July.
