Screen Yorkshire also keeps an actors database which is used by filmmakers that we work with. Please note you must have had some experience acting, as this is not an extras database. If you have some experience as an actor/actress and would like to be added to the database, please send a CV and at least one black and white head shot, no smaller than A5 to:

Script Reading Service
Screen Yorkshire offers a professional script reading service to companies and individuals in the Yorkshire and Humber region. This service is available for feature film scripts, television projects and detailed treatments. The service will include an assessment by Screen Yorkshire staff of the project's potential in terms of attracting interest with broadcasters and financiers, and the chances of it securing funding for further development including from the Screen Yorkshire Production Fund. We will also commission a detailed script analysis from one or more readers who have considerable industry experience and expertise.
