Business Support
Business Support from Game Republic/Screen Yorkshire
Supporting businesses is one of our key strategic priorities. If you are a Yorkshire-based games business we:
- act as a partner with Channel 4 co-investing in 4iP proposals from Yorkshire based companies. This partnership reflects both companies' strong commitment to supporting innovation in creative digital media.
- run a series of events to support your business such as meetings with platform-holders which have previously included Microsoft and Sony.
- regular network events to meet other Game Republic members and share industry information, contacts, resources and more.
- can offer information and advice on how to access training and development opportunities. We can also help with finding the right training courses to suit your needs.
- can offer advice and contacts, bringing companies together to work jointly on cross-platform projects.
- work with other organisations such as UKTI to offer subsidised travel/hotel/marketing costs to international events such as GDC and E3.
